Need your very best gravy recipes

Total disaster this morning (very light hearted!) and realised the beautiful ready made gravy i've been saving for christmas is now 6 months out of date. Not sure why i didn't think to check this before today, but there you have it. i therefore need people's very best gravy recipes please? Have a slight issue in that we have recently tested positive for CV (though all feel quite well) so can't actually get to the shops! Thank you!
