Ideas for canapés please

Hoping to get some canapés made for Christmas Day (eating late).

I'm definitely making a load of arincini balls - but not sure about what dip to put with it.

I'm looking for ideas please. DH wants something with anchovies and I'd like something with a sweet chutney.

Ideas most welcome please!

My suggestions would be:

Mini anchovy palmiers (BBC Good Food has a good recipe)

Cheese straws or sable biscuits

Mini skewers of mozzarella balls/basil/tomato (half cherry or sundried)/fennel salami

Sundried tomato pesto pinwheels
Falafels
Chicken satay
Little gem lettuce or chicory leaves filled with smoked salmon mousse

Great! Thank you!

I also thought of doing something with pâté and a chutney - don't know what! How would I serve pâté as a canapé and what chutney works best?

My favourite is to chop naan bread into squares or triangles and heat for 10 mins along with small pieces of chicken breast marinated in yoghurt and tikka paste. Put a blob of mango chutney on each naan, then a piece of chicken, top with mint raita and fresh coriander.
I’d serve pate on toasted wholemeal pita. Split pita and bake until crisp. Then spread on the pate, I always go for caramelised onion chutney.
I also like ritz crackers with blue cheese and a slice of pear.

Devils on Horseback: prune stuffed with a little mango chutney, wrapped in streaky bacon and baked til bacon is crispy.
