Cookbook for a 16 year old

DS16 doesn’t seem to want to conform to normal mealtimes and I’m getting a bit fed up of making him food at other times. So I thought a beginner, one portion cookbook might make the ideal Christmas present. There are so many student ones available though so I would be grateful for any recommendations

Meal in a Mug by Denise Smart
NOSH for students is excellent. Whilst some of the recipes serve 1, most serve 2 as this is usually more economical. I’ve found that they tend to be meals which reheat well the following day.

I like Sam Smith's books good.

My teens prefer to get recipes online, but ‘twisted’ did a good book last year. I would be more inclined to get a gadget such as a toastie/waffle maker and let them look up recipes online.

That was meant to say I find Sam Smith's books good!
