nut roast without cheese????

Is it possible to make one without cheese. I love all the ingredients in a nut roast and Jamie does one with a cranberry topping which sounds lovely. Not a vegetarian but would just love to try it on day and over Christmas seems like a good time. Any good recipes???

This one is good, although quite crumbly. Tastes good though

Second vote for this one. Mum is vegan and I’ve tried a handful of vegan nut roast recipes and was getting very disheartened.

This is easy, cheap to make, very quick, cuts beautifully and we polished it off in a day. It makes a one lb loaf so I’m going to double it for Christmas Day. It’s genuinely brilliant. I hate fruit in savoury food so skipped the cranberries but you could add them easily. You need chia seeds, I got a massive bag off Amazon for a few quid. Next time I’ll leave both nuts and breadcrumbs a bit chunkier.

If you happen to like mushrooms and have the patience to make the risotto base, this recipe's great. I made it last Christmas and am making it again this year. The recipe does contain cheese but I left it out (I hate cheese) and it was really flavourful and held together perfectly.
