Advice please...3 people Turkey Breast...never cooked one before where do I get one?

Please dont laugh... but am cooking Christmas day usually go elsewhere. I want to do a turkey breast just a small one...so...

1. Where do I get one? Supermarket I went to today M & S had none neither did Morrisons!

1. Do I cook it like a Chicken

Any supermarket - it will be called a turkey crown and it'll come with instructions.

My friend says you have to pre order at m and s!!!

Tesco have frozen chicken or turkey breast in the foil tub.

Personally, I don't like just the breast. I would just get a small turkey and cook it just like you would a chicken.

You're too early for a fresh one. Frozen are in stock though.

And no, you can either pre-order from the food to order options or you can just go in store from around about 19th

A Turkey crown is much easier to cook and carve than a bird.

The fancier ones may be larded and stuffed, which will help if you are not an accomplished cook. Get one bigger than you think. Follow the instructions on the pack, especially resting it while you do your vegs before serving.

I would get fresh, not frozen.

I just get a turkey breast roll - very simple to cook.

best I ever had was a saddle of turkey, which is like a crown but boned.

It was also the most expensive, perhaps because it needs a bit more work and you are not paying for the weight of bones.
