Can I freeze extra thick double cream?

I stupidly got my cream on my delivery order a week early!

Can I freeze this so it keeps its integrity and is ok for puddings (particularly cherry mess and syllabub) or should I chuck it and just brave the shops next week?

Google "freeze extra thick double cream"

In my experience it doesn't come out with the same consistency. It's fine for sauce or pie filling though.

Cream keeps for ages in the fridge. Should be fine a few days past it’s use by date.
