Please share your recommendations for gourmet food deliveries - looking for something extra special to celebrate a birthday that we can prepare at home with minimal fuss.

Think we call that takeaway in our house.

Sorry OP Smile

Hawksmoor at home if you like really good steak

UntamedWisteria · 05/12/2020 12:15

Julie, the only decent takeaway near us is curry. I want something better than that!

We have had several meals from restaurants via Dishpatch during lockdown.

Different restaurants and menus every month. All have been good and very easy to prepare, basically reheating with no faffing required!

YaoYao noodles if you like ramen/Japanese food.

Great selection in this article. I've eaten at a lot of these restaurants so would happily tuck into any of these kits.

Cote at Home every time!

UntamedWisteria · 06/12/2020 18:42

Cote at Home looks a bit pedestrian to me ...

Classic dishes that I often make at home e.g. fish pie, beef bourguignon, steak ...

Was hoping for something a bit more special.

Maybe Rick Stein then?
