V excited to be getting one of these for Christmas, but can't work out which size I want.

I do sometimes cook for large numbers or in bulk but may also want to do smaller quantities. Are there disadvantages to getting the larger one (apart from the obvious extra cost and space it takes up)?

i dont have a IP (they ve only just started selling in Aus) but i would go the larger size - i have a crockpot 5L equivilant and wish for a larger one - i often do a very large chicken or lamb leg in mine (pressure cook then glaze and transfer to oven for lovely fall apart juicy lamb...) and wish i had larger. another year and im going to upgrade to larger with growing teens as my excuse.
go large! (obvs storing is a pain but i think it would be worth it)
