Fresh fruit such as apples, clementine segments, melon cubes, berries ect,
dried fruit like apricots
Vegetable sticks such as carrot, cucumber, celery
Pasta and a simple sauce such as tomato or hummus
sandwiches made with a variety of fillings and breads like tortilla wraps, pita, soda wedges, chapattis
Cous cous with chopped veg and olives and dressing
flapjacks, oatcakes, crackers, the occasional fruit and nut bar for a treat

Bottles of fresh or shop bought smoothies
Trail mix with granola, seeds, raisins,
Leftovers from dinner, such as homemade wholewheat pizza or pasta
Dips and rice cakes
Yoghurts (we have alpro soy ones which are lovely)
Chickpeas tossed with olive oil and seasoning of choice
butter bean 'mash' flavoured with garlic ect. great for dipping
Tofu quiche (just use blended firm tofu with garlic and turmeric plus other seasonong and filling of choice) in a wholewheat pastry crust

Obviously nothing he needs too much help eating, hope those ideas are okay! x

haha - it's been marmite and cheese this week with veggie sticks and a handful of cereal and rasins and piece of fruit - my thinking being he gets a homecooked meal at dinner time..but these are great!

I wasn't sure about pasta - he only likes tomato 'sauce' and I'm pretty sure he'd make a terrible mess with it.

Could cooled egg bread work too do you think?

Ilike the idea of courgette fritters and the muffins. Have you got a recipe?

Quiche is a good idea too.
