How deep is a deep cake tin?

Ok so recipe says 23cm deep cake tin.

I have a 24 x 6cm tin or a 20 x 8cm tin......

A basic cake tin is sometimes only 2.5 or 3cm deep. Either of those tins of yours will be fine.

👍 I ended up going with the former after doing a bit of maths.....
