Reduced sugar flapjacks

Anyone got a good recipe? They don't need to be sugar-free, and definitely no artificial sweeteners. We just find most are too sweet and want them less sweet, but still firm and chewy.

I shall try that, thanks. Dates are a good idea. If it's still too sweet I can reduce the honey but the dates should keep it soft.

(Not sure about the desiccated coconut, though. I'm a keen home baker, but I do not keep any of that stuff - shows how much we dislike it!)
