I've accidentally added two jars of curry paste instead of sauce. What should I do?

They look the same as the sauce jars, so I've used two thinking it will be nice and saucy. So far I've added loads of water to make it thinner, but I don't know what to do. Is it salvageable?

Add tinned tomatoes?

Paste is really think, how did you not notice?

Do you have any cream or natural yogurt to cool it a bit?
I would maybe take half of it out and freeze it for the next curry or else add an extra tin of tomatoes, a load more meat, veg & potatoes then you’ve got a massive batch that you can freeze in portions. You won’t have to make another pot of curry for a couple of months!

Do you have a tin of coconut milk?

You can always take half out for cooking something else. Or just divide the lot in two batches and save for future curries. Start afresh for today.

Make a bigger curry-add lots of veg or whatever you have.

The jar will have a recipe on the side. Coconut milk or yoghurt to make it creamy, Tim toms and stock to make it saucy

add potatoes.

I think it's salvageable. Either make a huge amount, (add lots of liquid such as water or coconut milk). Or take some out now and freeze for later and dilute the remaining amount.

I kind of zoned out. I even had to scrape the jar and didn't once think it didn't look right until way after when I looked at the jar. Guess we are eating curry for the rest of the month 😆
