Where can I get good mixed peel?

I’m after some nice chunky mixed peel - not the mimsy little pieces you get in the supermarket pots, more the jumbo sized pieces you get in a panettone for example. Would probably need to be online but any pointers appreciated!

Would you care to try making your own? This is from yesterday’s paper.

Like this? from Wilton whole foods. I have ordered lots of stuff from them but not peel, everything else (flours, dried fruit, dried herbs spices, chocolate chips)has been great and they are reliable.

making your own is quite relaxing if you have the time for the boiling, sugar syrup etc - and you get to use up the citrus peels. Grapefruit is the best

The Wilton stuff looks great but I am swayed by the Darina Allen recipe. Grapefruit candied peel here we come, I can made decent sized chunks. Never thought of making my own, so thank you!

Another vote for making your own. Save up your citrus peel in the freezer until you have a decent amount. Costs almost nothing and tastes so much better than what you get in the baking aisle.
