Light golden brown sugar instead of golden caster?

Hi I am planning to make Halloween biscuits on Saturday. Recipe here https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/scaryhalloweenncookies86970

I do not have golden caster as the recipe says, I have light golden brown. Could I use this instead or am I better off braving the shops?

Thanks!

Yes - I've frequently substituted types of sugar and for something like this where it's creamed with the butter it will be fine.

I'd use it but probably a bit less as brown sugar seems to be more dense than caster. Maybe 8oz instead of 9.
