What can I do for tea tonight, got to pick DD up from work so won't be eating til 8.30. Want something with minimal washing up afterwards. Things we usually have on a Saturday are pizzas, burgers, steak sandwiches, takeaway. Any suggestions?

Quiche is what I'm having. Shop bought

Fajitas?

Chop veg/meat beforehand.

We are having bbq ribs and chips. Morrisons sell ribs, squirt with sauce and whack in the oven on low for ages. Serve with coleslaw and plenty of kitchen roll!

Make a Mac and cheese In advance and just crisp up under the grill?

Baked potatoes and chilli. I fancy that now, and I haven't had breakfast yet.

I'd make a traybake of some kind - lasagna, shepherds pie or similar, you can make it and clean up the preparation pans this morning even so just the main pan tonight. I put all the veg into my shepherds pie for ease

We're having lasagna for dinner, I'll make it earlier in the day and pop it in the oven to finish when we have dinner

Some great ideas, had lasagne yesterday so that's out, ribs sound good though.

I’m doing grilled, garlic and herb, butterflied chicken breast, in toasted ciabatta rolls with lettuce, tomatoes and red onion and garlic mayo. Served with a green salad and homemade apple and yoghurt slaw. (I’ll not bother with the roll because bread fills me up too quickly!)

I did Spanish meatballs and chipped potatoes always popular and at a pinch all can be done in the oven
