Hamlyn All Colour Cookbook - Christmas

I’m looking for a recipe for Christmas pudding from the hamlyn all colour cookbook, the one with the brown/burgundy cover I think.

I’ve got the black cover version from 1990 but it’s not in it, it was an older one that had it. My pal is desperate for this exact recipe for sentimental reasons. No alternatives will suffice apparently!

Can anyone help please? (and to really annoy you I can’t open attachments so a quick typed rendition of the recipe would be amazing).

I’m going to see her tomorrow so I won’t have time to get it! It’s just something she’d mentioned and she’s having a tough time so I thought it would be nice.

I’ve not seen it myself. So I can’t tell by looking but if it’s in that book it must be the one!

It’s just what my friend had told me she wanted to make again for nostalgic reasons. I’ve not had any or seen the recipe myself.

This thread has taken me right back to 1988, newly married and unable to cook! I had a copy of this book with the red cover, it was my bible!

I still use my copy Twiglet and have never had a recipe fail for me yet!

Oh this has taken me back! I had the one with the red cover when I was at Uni. I’m very tempted to buy it from amazon for the bargain price of £3.20.
