Skin on boneless chicken thighs

I was planning an easy meal of just sticking jacket potatoes and chicken thighs in the oven and heating up a can of beans. However it turns out the chicken thighs Ive bought are boneless, which I’d normally only use in a stew or curry. With chicken thighs I normally add garlic oil and seasoning and roast for 40 minutes. How long should I roast boneless for? And how do I prevent them from getting dry?

If I'm cooking plain chicken breasts on their own, I will cover them in tin foil, this usually stops them from going dry, I will take the tin foil off for the last ten minutes. I'm sure the same will work for chicken thighs.

Does anyone know where you can get boneless chicken thighs with the skin on from.

I pan-fry boneless skin-on thighs. Medium-high heat, four minutes on the skin side, three on the meat side. Seven minutes in total. I usually just rub something nice into the skin beforehand — some kind of rub, usually smoked paprika and oregano or just salt and pepper.

I flatten them out before I do the above, just to be clear.

@Itsagrandoldteam I got them from my local shop that is supplied by a local butcher, so not much help I’m afraid. But with a small sharp knife it’s not that hard to take the bones out of thighs

Totally missing the point, but bone in ones are great for stew. It adds more flavour and nutrition. I shred the chicken and take the bones out before serving, but you can leave them in to serve too.

I'd use bone-in chicken thighs for stew too, but not with the skin on, as it goes soggy, doesn't it? I love chicken skin, but I want it to be crispy.

I'd marinade them, put them on skewers with small chunks of spring onion and put them under the grill for 5 mins a side!

I can't answer your question I'm afraid, as I can only ever find bone in thoughts, or skinless. Please could you tell me where do you get skin on, boneless thighs? These are my idea of culinary heaven!

Waitrose is the only place I’ve ever found that does them.
