Baked Potato Slices Recipe?

Does anyone know how to make something like this from scratch?
Waitrose Crispy Potato Slices

I loved these, but I'm having trouble getting them after Ocado switched from Waitrose to M&S. I'd like to just make some myself, but my Google-fu isn't working and I can't find recipes for anything similar.

Obviously, I have some thoughts based on the ingredients list, but I'm not a great cook, so I'm not quite sure what to do. I assume I slice potatoes and use the egg and flour to coat them, but I'm not sure if I should boil the potatoes a bit first, then coat and bake, or if you do the whole thing from raw, or if there's some other technique?

If you slice up small potatoes (rather than baking potatoes), you’ll get ones just like the waitrose ones (I’m guessing size based on the picture).
