Puff pastry? At what age is okay to give to baby?

Hi everyone! I’ve seen online that a lot of people experiment with using puff pastry when making food for their babies, I was wondering at what age is it okay to give them to a baby, my little girl is 6 months today and just wondered when it would be okay to introduce it as part of her meals? Thank you in advance!

As long as baby is ready for solids (sitting up etc) then it's definitely fine to introduce from 6 months :)

It might not harm her, but why give her fat & flour when protein & veg would be better for her?

I doubt OP is planning on just serving her child a slab of pastry. Also, fat IS good for babies.

Nothing harmful so from 6 months is fine.

The last baby feeding workshop i went to said to wean straight on to family food at 6 months. So if we were having pasta and apple pie or whatever she had it too. Not sure how much she actually ate for the first month or so but she had fun Grin

Good to start the demonisation of carbs from a young age 👌

As others have said OP, it's fine from 6 months :) messy though!

@Georgyporky what's wrong with fat and flour? At 6 months the baby will be having really small amounts.
