How do I use my cast iron pot?

I've come by a large cast iron cooking pot. I know how to season it and have done that but I am nervous of launching into cooking with it.

What works well to cook in a cast iron pot? It's the black kind with no enamel (not like Le Creuset)

Envy

I would do a beef & ale stew but I’m boring.

Ohhhhh pretty much everything!

Chicken dishes, curries, stews, tagines.

Bread!

A book like ‘From the oven to the table’ by Diana Henry would be a good start. 🙂

Avoid cooking acidic things in it until you have used it a fair bit. This includes things like tomato based sauces. Try and cook things with a high fat content at first. I'm vegetaroan, but I'm thinking a crealy chicken soup and so on. Although you have seasoned it, you will want to build up the natural coatings that cast iron gets as well.
