I have made 3 Christmas cakes and have some fruit mixture left over. It works out 1/3 of the mixture of the cake (Delia's Creole Christmas cake baked in a 20cm x 20cm tin). Adding the other ingredients I can make a cake 1/3 or the size or make a couple of small ones e.g. 1/2 tin of beans size.
The dilemma is that I haven't a clue how ling to cook them for. The original recipe says cook for 3 hours on 140 degrees, then cover for 1 hour, so a total of 4 hours.
Any suggestions?
