What should I make for brunch?

I have two friends coming over on Monday at around 10 and have no idea what to make. They said they would be happy with anything.
I am thinking maybe just some ready made pancakes, waffles and fruit?
Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated!

I'd be over the moon with pancakes/waffles/fruit! Especially if there'd be maple syrup 😋

Or you could get a selection of pastries Smile

Shakshuka. Make the sauce in advance. Heat sauce, add eggs and simmer with lid on until eggs cooked. Serve with crusty baguette.

If I were hosting, I would want to do Eggs Benedict. However, despite my cooking skills, poached eggs are beyond me.
So, American style pancakes with maple syrup and fruit/bacon.
Failing that, cinnamon swirls in a tin (get mine from Waitrose) and a big pot of coffee.

I've made these loads of times, they're amazing:

Serve with some thick Greek yoghurt, maple syrup, and fresh fruit.

Well if it was me I would make omelette’s ( cheese, or mushroom ,or ham, cheese and mushroom or Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast , with fresh fruit on the side with tea or coffee and still water .

I would do a mix of sweet and savoury and have
Smoked salmon
Scrambled eggs
Avocado
Pancakes with syrup, sugar & lemon , fresh berries OR French toast with syrup and fruit
Virgin mojitos, tea and coffee
