Can I salvage my slow cooked lamb

The lamb recipe said 180 so I've cooked for 2 hours so far but realised that it was supposed be 160 with a fan oven. I've now turned down for the last hour but guessing it's just going to tough?

Not necessarily! Turn it right down and let it sit and soften.

I'm sure you're not waiting by the phone to find out but it was actually really nice! Thanks!!

Phew! Nothing worse than a disappointing dinner!

Great! I hate cooking expensive meat- it's such a pressure! I tend to get it when there's a special offer, or better still when it's on the reduced aisle, then I don't worry so much about getting it wrong!

Left over lamb makes great curry, by the way!
