Stuffed Marrow

My DH has been given a huuuge marrow and I was thinking of making a stuffed marrow. I've found lots of recipes but wondered if anyone has a favourite tried and tested recipe? I'm going to have to use minced beef as that's all I have in the fridge at the moment.

My mother used to do it with a bolgnaise sauce and cheese sauce over that. (Halved and scooped out obv).

My neighbour recently made marrow cake and marrow muffins from a huge marrow. Similar to carrot cake with spices and it was lovely. Depends if you would prefer savoury main or a nice treat?

Thank you so much for the suggestion. To be honest, I probably have enough for both sweet and savoury as DH has come home with another one! I like the sound of a marrow cake - anything with the word cake in it appeals to me! I have had a courgette cake that a friend made and it was lush.
