I've always hankered after Le Creuset but just can't bring myself to spend that much money. I saw loads of PR last year about Aldis special buy range but couldn't get hold of any. They're back on the website now and I've ordered some. Just wondering if anyone has used them and what they're like? I'm still using trusty Pyrex but definitely ready for an upgrade.

They get great reviews!

I'm really hoping they're good because I've ordered two! A 26" deep and a 26" shallow for £45. Some sizes are already sold out so people must have been waiting for them.

They're very popular. I'd love some, but realistically they are too heavy. I get pain in my wrists. I have to keep telling myself 'no' though! Tell me how you get on!

It's the most used pan in the kitchen, everything from casseroles to curries to full roast chicken. Just take the time to season properly, reglaze, and never dish wash. Mushroom pilau is awesome.

They are heavy, hopefully I'll be able to manage them! @Daftasabroom how do I season it? Definitely won't be going in the dishwasher. Mine hasn't been used since Christmas its more hassle than hand washing for just three of us.

I have a cast iron orange griddle from Sainsburys I put in the dishwasher.
