Frozen bacon

Husband took bacon out freezer thursday night and put in fridge to defrost , kids never used it for breakfast yesterday . Will it be ok to use today? Online it says within 24 hrs ,

I'm sure it'll be fine. Bacon lives for years it's cured, probably no need to freeze in the first place
