Mushroom ideas

So I have a huge amount of mushrooms that need to be used up within the next 24hrsish. Any ideas? Pretty sure they will turn to slush if I just freeze them so that's no good. Not that keen on soup. In case it makes a difference, they were picked this afternoon, field mushrooms have a much shorter shelf life for some reason

Thanks!

https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/bestvegetableelasagne50381. This is nice.

Risotto also good.

Personally I'd probably chop them very finely, sautee them with chopped onions and garlic, and then deploy them in a mince-like fashion - maybe mixed with some other finely chopped veg, and/or green lentils, chopped walnuts, that sort of thing. So, for like cottage pie and lasagna and whatnot. But if you get them to the sauteed stage I reckon they'd freeze fine at that point so you can come back to them in stages.

You can cook them and then freeze them, Google how to do it so they don't go mushy.
Otherwise, spagetti carbonara?

Fried piled high on hot buttered toast

This recipe is delicious www.lifestylefood.com.au/recipes/16294/mushroom-ragout-with-soft-polenta
It’s very rich and uses loads of mushrooms. I think it would go well with plain risotto or very good mashed potato instead of polenta.
