Pasta sauce without cheese?

Looking for ideas for (maybe veggie) pasta dishes, but pretty much every sauce has cheese or creme fraiche which I’m not keen on.

Any suggestions for other pasta recipes? Obviously there’s tomato based ones, but I like the sound of things like ‘spinach and mushroom tagliatelle’ but without the cheese!

@RunningFromInsanity I absolutely love Guacaroni. Look it up on the internet. It's a recipe by bosh and is amazing. In the book it says to use 2 limes, so I'd do that if you try it. It's so tasty and quick and easy to make. Smile

Pasta "fazool" (pasta e fagioli) is one of my all time favourites. You can make it without tomatoes, the beans make it creamy. I put roasted red peppers in mine, it's a great store-cupboard dish.
