Oh oh - I got those the other week. Have no idea what they are. I think I just boiled them in a little bit of water for a few minutes - they were lovely.

I also reckon they're borlotti beans. We grew loads this year and have dried most of them for lots of hearty winter bean dishes.

yum, borlotti beans, lucky you. simmer them in some chicken stack and thyme - and just eat

Thank you. I cooked them as a side veg but I don't think they can have been the same as yours Doggie as they were dry if you know what I mean. Perfect for soups and stews though so must be borlotti beans. I will know for next time though, thank you.
