Any good ideas for using up an enormous amount of plums? 2 trees which have both done amazingly well this year.

There’s only so much crumble we can eat.

Roasted duck www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/roast-spiced-duck-plums

Mary Berry’s red plum ice cream. You don’t need an ice cream maker and it works well for any kind of plums- I’ve used it for our Victorias several times.

Plum tarte tatin - Jamie has a good recipe, but more recently I’ve used Mary Berry’s

Plums work well in flapjacks. I can’t remember which recipe I used, but I’m sure there’s loads on google.

Freeze them: make crumble all year

I’m not sure the freezer is large enough. I’m accosting strangers to ask if they want plums....mad plum lady.

Definitely going to try the chutney and the slivovitz
