Interesting marinades?

I'm doing a low carb diet which involves a lot of chicken breast/fish etc.

Can you suggest some interesting marinades? Sauces? Store bought or home made?

I like ethnic tastes, Pan Asian, Mexican, etc...spicy, tangy!

All ideas welcome!

I like spice and tang too !
I use lime pickle ( pataks ) chop a few table spoons up and stuff about a teaspoon full under the skin on chicken thighs , using some of the oil from the pickle brush the skin on the chicken , cove and roast until nearly cooked then uncover to brown the skin.

Use the juice of half a lemon mixed with tomato puree Tabasco and finely diced gherkins , stuff the nix under the skin of chicken thighs and roast.

When ever any recipe calls for the juice of a lemon or lime once you have got all the juice out slice the left over skin into match stick thin pieces and roast on a separate tray until it is almost dried out ( about half a hr in a hot over ) this can them be chopped up smaller or left in strips and added to salad , rice ( just before you strain it ) ice cream , and loads of other things to give food a bit of zing .
Or you can just eat it on its own if you are a bit weird like me Grin

Satay is great for chicken
Miso and soy works on chicken and fish
Harissa paste mixed with a little oil and spread over white fish or meat

Lime juice and fresh coriander for chicken then griddled in very hot pan. My fave.
