Hi, I'd like a recommendation please for a food processor. My current Kenwood food processor's main plastic bowl has cracked in several places and has been in use for 11 yrs. I mainly use the Kenwood food processor for one function: to grind together cooked meat, cooked lentils and fresh herbs to make shami kabab (an easy-to-chew patty). I only use the food processor's other functions (chopping and grating) when my house-helper is sick or traveling. I like the food processor's big 1.5 Liter/ 6 cup capacity. Over the years, I have bought a Kenwood Chef Major and a Vitamix. Ideally, I want to reduce the number of appliances on the counter.
- Can I use my currently functional Vitamix or Kenwood Chef to grind together 2-3 kg of cooked meat/cooked lentils?
- Has anyone bought and used the food processor attachment for Kenwood Chef? Does it do a good job chopping?
