Home made Mr Whippy style ice cream?

Dd is desperate for a Mr Whippy, but we live in the arse end of nowhere with no local ice cream places or visiting vans.
Can anyone help with a foolproof "recipe" that I could do using a tub of ice cream and milk/cream and sugar? Don't have an ice cream maker so would have to be by hand or in a blender, and piped out of a plastic bag. I'm really unsure re quantities and freezing time.

This freezes harder than Mr Whippy, but if you caught it at the right time could be piped
no churn icecream
It tastes quite good - we used to flavour it with all sorts of stuff.

I am craving Mr Whippy myself because the shop bought ice cream is far too sweet for me. Was hoping now we have had some nice weather that I would see a van around, but no. Bugger!

Do the banana ice cream thing: freeze chunks of banana and then blend to buggery with a touch of milk in your blender. It's almost the consistency of Mr Whippy and is awesome.

Yeah I will have to get a blender again!
