Tonic Water

I was given a nice bottle of gin as a birthday present, with a couple of bottles of tonic water. It's a long time since I drank gin, and I was hoping you could advise of types of tonic water that are worth buying. I remember Schweppes from my twenties, but recall it having quite a synthetic taste.

Any recommendations?

I much prefer Fevertree to Schweppes, it doesn't have that synthetic taste. It's more expensive but worth it. I also like Asda's own, cheap enough for you to give it a go. There are various flavours of tonic water now too so might be worth googling what is recommended with your particular gin .

Thank you. It was fevertree I got as part of the present and I liked the taste of it. I'll google what they recommend

Fevertree website will recommend which of their tonics to use for specific gins.

London essence and Fentimans are also good. I do love fever tree though!

Sainsbury's and Morrison's both do a low cal one with a lime twist. Best own brand low cal ones I've found.

I only buy Fevertree now. I like the naturally lower calorie varieties. No unpleasant aftertaste from artificial sweeteners.

Gosh, a double post! That hasn't happened to me in a long time. Apologies!
