what do people think of frozen baby foods and meals such as cottage pies or lasagne?

usually v expensive
IMHO much easier if you make your own food to take a portion of that and freeze for your baby

I've never frozen lasagne, but I freeze small portions of cottage pie, shepherds pie, fish pie etc for my DS and they are great (except when DP eats them). If you mean bought ones - it depends very much on the brand. Little dish meals (I know you can get them from Waitrose)don't have additives in, also Beth Someone or others meals are good. I avoid processed foods if possible because of salt and additives so avoid kids ready meals except the above.

Hope this helps

Deffo taste better than jars, far less synthetic!

There is a range of organic meals called Juniorganic. These have no added salt, no added sugar, free from preservatives, colourings etc. They are hand made and certified by Organic Farmers and growers & taste great. They are also frozen so you can keep them in the freezer until you need them....beats cooking & is good honest real food. The website is www.juniorganic.co.uk
Good luck

I'd use that sort of thing if there was absolutely no way I could cook something, but generally I wouldn't bother as the price is alot for what you get. Once every few weeks probo won't do any harm but it just won't be the same as Mummy's cooking!
