What would you make? BBC Good Food cheescake recipe looks good, but am thinking sauce/jam/preserve of some type? Don't need any more fridge temptation right now....

Not particularly high in calories as far as cakes go.
A bit like cherry toad in the hole.

Mush half and boil for a few minutes (no sugar) to have cold with Greek yogurt at breakfast. Or stir through porridge/overnight oats.

I know people use cherry sauce for cold meats like venison.
Or Italian “mostarda di frutta” which is an acquired taste, but that’s other fruits as well as cherries.
