What family puddings do you make?

I try to do a nice dessert on a weekend, but am in a bit of a rut. I veer towards crumbles, cheesecakes and have recently done Eton Mess and profiteroles (after a special request from DS1!).

Please let me know your favourites!

Pavlova is my personal favourite, how about a Victorian sponge cake with cream and strawberries? A roulade? This is making me hungry 😂

In the past few weeks we’ve had:
Summer pudding
Lemon meringue pie
Ice cream cake
Summer berry trifle
Puff pastry apple tart

For this weekend I’m doing:
Banana splits
Caramelised pineapple on the BBQ

If it wasn’t so hot, I’d do things like:
Self saucing pudding
Croissant bread pudding
Tiramisu

I think some kind of roulade and a lemon meringue pie this weekend. 😊

Most demanded here are molten middle puddings. I double the recipie from "dessert for two".
Icecream cake probably needs doing here.
My Dad loves baked alaska!

You know, I've never tried a baked Alaska, and I've got a funny feeling I'd LOVE it. 😆
