What to serve with kebabs?

I want to make kebabs on skewers as a family meal one night. The kebabs aren't a problem but I have no idea what to serve alongside them. I'd be grateful if anyone have any suggestions for accompaniments/side dishes.

We normally serve rice, salad and grilled tomatoes with pickles. You could substitute flatbread for the rice.

We generally have rice and/or pitta bread and salad. I often make a spicy tomato and pepper sauce to go with some or something more yoghurty depending on the kebab.

It really depends what meat and veg are on the kebabs and what flavour they are.
Flatbreads are the usual for us, but sometimes pilau rice or couscous salad.
