BEEF STEW recipes required please

having NEVER made a beef stew (I know, I know) I have the urge to attempt one this week (must be the weather).

All recipes and/or links appreciated

Ta muchly

1lb stewing steak
parsnip
carrot
sweed
shallots
tin of tomato puree
2 tins of tomatos
beef stock
1 tin of corned beef
pepper (i like lots do it to your taste)
and another tin of corned beef goes in 30 minuets before the end of cooking

Thanks the stew is the best ever you wont be disapointed let it cook for as long as you can i give it about 5 hours in the slow cooker and its yummmy

add one of those packets of colemans beef casserole mix or something similar it has cornfloor added and it really thickens it up and gives that added taste-oh and second the new big dish too.
