Please help before i go mad. DD2 has been shielding which means we havn't been out in over 3 months, not even to the supermarket (apart from click and collect). There is 5 of us including 2 teenagers so i have tried to buy in bulk where i can.

The last 3 months of meals have been made up of chicken and minced beef with a few freezer stuff like pizzas thrown in and quite frankly im fed up of the sight of chicken. Oh and pasta! ive gone right off pasta now lol

Please could you give me some ideas of what to cook for 5 of us that doesnt include the above? will eat veggie meals if really tasty for dd2. Ive have listed some things they 'dont like' below

Any meat apart from the dreaded chicken or minced beef (will eat fish and sausages)
soup of any kind
peppers

Thanks in advance mumsnet!

Mushroom curry (spice tailor kits are good if you want something quick and easy)
Moroccan veg tagine (I like sweet potato, courgette and red onion)
Chickpea/bean stew (lovely with a bit of chorizo in)
Veg Thai green curry
Prawn red Thai curry
Veg in Chinese style sauce with rice

Ricekrispie22 · 11/06/2020 16:17

You could do vegetable/chickpea tagine with couscous and serve it with some lamb meatballs for yourself.
Egg fried rice
Cheese pancakes
Fish finger wraps (I didn’t believe my children that these were actually a ‘thing’ right now until I googled them!)
Potato, leek and cheese pie
Cowboy pie
Loaded potato skins
Sticky sausage tray bake
Tuna burgers
Mexican bean stew (BBC recipe) and sweet potato wedges
