Recipe for Cream of Vegetable soup please ...

DS2 loves cream of veg soup (like you get in restaurants) as opposed to my version which is veg sweated in oil/butter, then simmered for ages in stock and blitzed. Can't find a recipe for a cream of veg soup - does anyone have one please? Am not sure if it requires a roux or simply needs cream/milk adding at the end. TIA

I would imagine it's out of a packet labelled Knorr

stick some croutons on top of it and add some double cream after you blitzed it

you would be AGHAST if you knew how many restaurants use industrial dehydrated soup bases. It shouldn't be allowed
