Gluten free bread flour

Hello, can anyone recommend the best gluten free bread flour please? I’m gluten and dairy free and want to try making my own bread. The loaves of GF bread have always been expensive, but now the price of all food seems to have risen so dramatically I need to find ways to cut costs. Making my own bread seems obvious, I get through about 3 loaves a week which can be over £10 a week. I’ve just never been able to produce a loaf which tastes good or lasts very long.

I like the Doves Farm brand but am also tempted to try these mixes flowerandwhite.co.uk/shop/shop1.html - I saw them on a deal last night on QVC last night so might give them a shot

In terms of recipes, I've done this one a few times and it's lovely www.myrelationshipwithfood.com/recipe/the-little-loaf-gluten-free/

Thank you, that’s really helpful. The loaf on the link looks delicious. Is it moist and easy to get slices out of?

Yes, it slices really easily and keeps well - doesn't dry out too fast, toasts well - I tend to put it in the freezer after the first day or so and then take out a few slices as and when I need it

Sounds perfect! I’m going to try it, really appreciate your response. Thank you.

Spelt flour. We've been using it in the breadmaker as DS seems to have a bit of a wheat/gluten intolerance. Makes a nice solid loaf.

Spelt isn’t gluten free

Oops sorry. That'll teach me not to spout off on things I don't really know about.
