Ham Stock Cube Shortage?

I use ham cubes for lentil soup mainly, but haven’t been able to find any anywhere. I’ve asked a few people to keep a lookout while shopping to no avail.

Has anyone else had problems trying to get them?

Have you tried Marigold Swiss Bouillon powder instead?

When I boil a gammon joint or ham hock, I concentrate the cooking liquid & freeze in ice-cube trays or mini plastic pots.

I haven’t tried that, I’ll give it a go.

I never actually thought of making the stock myself but I might try it as well. The ham definitely wouldn’t go to waste, favourite meat!
