What to do with white pudding?

I have been using lockdown as an opportunity to spend more time on cooking and have ordered myself all sorts of interesting food boxes directly from the producer. A meat box that arrived last week has some white pudding in it. I've only ever had this a part of a fry up and wondered if anyone had any suggestions for other ways to use it? All thoughts gratefully received!

I think a fry up is more or less the only way to use it. It is too stodgy for anything else.

Heat in oven & serve as a side with a roast or stew. Make a batter & deep fry, serve with chips.

I think you could use it as a stuffing alternative with chicken. I’ve had haggis this way and it was lovely and the idea is similar enough.

Depends if it's Scottish or Irish white pudding (they're quite different). If it's Scottish could you send it to me please as I'm really craving some now!

Nice with a roast chicken dinner and plenty gravy. I'm also partial to a slice cold

If it’s a Scottish white pudding them mince or stew with mealie pudding can be lovely. You basically make the meat dish with a lot of gravy simmer and the pudding in that.

Then the mealie acts as lovely way to mop up the gravy..

Or remove the skin and slice into a chunk 2-3 inches long and wrap in thinly sliced steak to make beef olives.
