I've got lots of left over home made chilli and some tortilla wraps...

can I fill the wraps with the chilli, rolled up, cover them with passata and grated cheese and bake in the oven?

What do you think? Any other ideas please. I can't freeze the chilli as I defrosted it for last night's dinner; I hadn't realised though quite how large a portion it was.

TIA

Yep, I do that all the time

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 13/05/2020 13:27

Yes of course you can!

That would work. Or you could make chilli natchos with the wraps or chilli and jacket potato or chips.

MotheringShites · 13/05/2020 13:28

Haven’t you just described enchiladas?

happytodayhappytomorrow · 13/05/2020 13:30

wow, thank you for the speedy replies. A version of enchiladas I guess. That's sort o what i was aiming for.

Yes - that's an enchilada😂

HollyBollyBooBoo · 13/05/2020 13:32

Yep or don't put the pasata on and bake them and you've got baked chimichangas.

ClientQ · 13/05/2020 13:46

I do that a lot. Or use a round Pyrex dish and layer it up like lasagne

MrsCastiel · 13/05/2020 13:46

I do chilli wraps with nachos and cheese melted on top and then sour cream, salsa, guac.

I assume it's called something but I refer to it as "food of the gods" best eaten when hungover. Best not eaten if dieting 😂

bit late now but you could have done quesadillas - put a wrap in a non stick frying pan, pile on the chilli and some cheese, put another wrap on top and cook until brown …. lovely.

Kelsoooo · 14/05/2020 11:34

Yep.

Or you can use cheese, chili lasagne.

Chilli, wrap, soft cheese and grated cheese, chilli. . . Etc
