HELP! Easy healthy lunch ideas for a toddler who only likes soft food?

Hi all,

I'm desperate for some good ideas of what to feed my little man for lunch. He loves bread on cheese and tomatoes but that's about it. He's obviously a sucker for pasta but I just want to offer him a few more healthy options. Has anyone found any good ideas or recipes for batch freeze compatible bakes for lunch?

Thanks so much for any recommendations!

Scrambled egg, beans on toast, baked potato with cheese

Try googling baby led weaning ideas as they are generally all fairly soft. Vegetable fritters can be made with various grated, finely chopped or blended up veg mixed with flour and egg and shallow fried.

Other ideas:

-fishcakes made with mashed potato
-crustless quiche/frittata
-falafel.

If he likes his bread would he have some soup with it?

If you batch cook a loads of mini fishcakes they can be frozen and then popped in the oven for an easy lunch.

Dips with fingers of bread or pitta? Homemade guacamole with avocado and greek yoghurt; humous with greek yoghurt stirred in. These sound odd but my two very fussy eaters loved both these when they were small.

Peeled, ripe pear or melon balls, banana custard.
