does anyone have it and is it any good? My library has yet to get a copy which could take forever, and i dont have a bookshop nearby to browse...

are the recipes really quick and easy? and short list of ingredients?

I must admit DD & I spent so much time laughing and bitching, we didn't really note down how to do the recipes (except the octopus - that looks REALLY easy . DP hasn't watched it yet. If he does, I'll be watching his reaction to her derriere with interest!

i am so perplexed by this programme. I don't remember her previous series being this weird and grating. I find it quite patronising to be honest and wonder why she feels the need to bring her kids in on it? Perhaps they want to work in TV eventually, maybe they'll be hosting Big Brother's Big Mouth next season or something a la the Madeley bunch.

I agree - I loved her earlier series and thought she was someone I'd be happy to spend an evening with, and I pitied her for her tragic home situation. Now I feel like I just want to slap her - anything to stop her flapping her hands and gushing and smirking to camera.

And I do feel uncomfortable about the involvement of her poor children. The boy seems oblivious, but her poor daughter!

Have been in her house. Just for the record, Her kitchen didn't look anything like the one off the telly.

it isn't her home kitchen though is it, but a set? which one you been in then mwmama, the belgravia one or the one in the earlier progs?

i thought the xmas special direfully embarrassing too, she must be been kept pretty firmly in line by the other production team as all the bbc stuff seems to have a gone a bit wrong.
