Frying steak ideas

Accidentally defrosted frying steak as well as stewing steak for chilli today!

I would normally do beef in black bean sauce or fajitas but we had the black bean last week and obvs the chilli tonight feels too samey for fajitas.

What are your strip steak favourites??

No one (apart from me) likes mushrooms or eggs and kids don't like too much spice but apart from that we're up for most ideas so any good recipes I could try?

Beef olives.

Not exactly healthy but cheesesteak in a fresh baguette is almost the best food in the world!

Thai/Vietnamese style rare steak salad? I usually just use any salady bits I have- lettuce, grated carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, bean sprouts or anything really. Add vermicelli noodles if you have them. ideally I marinade the steak all day or overnight, but even an hour will infuse a great flavour.

Yes to beef olives with thick onion gravy and buttery mash.

The salad sounds amazing but I don't think the steak is good enough for that!

Steak sandwich / cheesesteak is a VERY interesting idea . We have those bake at home baguettes which would work very nicely.
