Batch cooking experts!
Have and extra freezer and wanting to do soem batch cooking for it so we don't get too bored at the moment.

But..
I want to be able to defrost and then cook in the oven (surely everyone does). I don't want to buy disposable foil trays though - and that's the only way I can see to do this..

Any ideas? even Lakeland not really providing a solution. I want to make lasagne, fish pie, moussaka - and don't want to transfer.....

Glass dishes :) I got the Ikea 365 ones with plastic clip lids. Obviously the lids can't go in the oven but otherwise it's all freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. More expensive initial outlay than foil dishes but mine have been fab so far and are washing up great so hopefully they'll last and last.

Yes, glass dishes. I use Pyrex ones and I cook some things straight from frozen (removing the plastic lid of course). I’ve thought about getting the Ikea ones next time I go.

I got my Pyrex ones with a plastic lid from Amazon a while ago, I’ve also seen the same in Wilkos

I have oven safe ceramic dishes in various sizes - earthenware type of thing not fine china. Some are single serving size, some are larger. They go into reusable freezer bags with a clip it for freezing, then can be defrosted in the microwave if necessary before going in the oven.

I have some Pyrex as well but find they can chip a bit eventually.

If you search for something like 'oven to tableware freezer' you should find the types of thing you need.
