Okay, so I'm doing a beef roast today. I had a topside beef in the freezer and I forgot to take it out yesterday. So I took it out of the freezer this morning about 8/9am and left it on the side to defrost as much as it can. About half hour ago I put it to defrost in the microwave(on the defrost setting by weight) for about 16 mins and it started to get a little done on the top. It was still a little frozen in the middle when I tried with a knife but not too much to where the knife couldn't get through. I've browned it on the stove and now put it in the oven to roast. I'm really stressing thinking it won't be safe to eat. We like our beef well done so that's how I will be cooking it. Yeah so my question is, will it be safe to eat when done? x
